The targeted corrosion inhibitor is a nano silver-loaded nitrite-intercalated layered double hydroxide. The targeted corrosion inhibitor is prepared based on interlayer ion exchangeability of layered double hydroxides and specific recognition of Ag+ to chloride ions.
