Die Erfindung betrifft eine Befestigung einer Türgriffeinrichtung (6) an einer Fahrzeugtür (1 ), insbesondere eines Kraftfahrzeugs, wobei die Fahrzeugtür (1 ) eine Türaußenwand (2) und eine Türstirnwand (4) aufweist, und wobei die Türgriffeinrichtung (6) einen einen Türgriff (7) lagernden Lagerbügel (9), der an der Türaußenwand (2) befestigt ist, und einen Türschließzylinder (8) aufweist. Dabei ist vorgesehen, dass der Türschließzylinder (8) nur an der Türstirnwand (4) befestigt ist.
