METHOD OF RE-FRACTURING USING BORATED GALACTOMANNAN GUM
A well treatment fluid containing borated galactomannan may be used to isolate a productive zone in a well having multiple productive zones. The fluid is particularly useful in treatment of wells containing a mechanical zonal isolation system in the productive zone of interest. The fluid is pumped into the well in a substantially non-hydrated form. The well treatment fluid is therefore highly effective in preferentially sealing or blocking productive zones in the formation since delayed hydration of the fluid may be controlled for up to several hours. The seal may be degraded and a productive zone subjected to re-fracturing by introducing a viscosity reducing agent into the well.
L'invention concerne un fluide de traitement de puits contenant un galactomannane boré pouvant être utilisé pour isoler une zone productrice dans un puits présentant de multiple zones productrices. Le fluide est particulièrement utile dans le traitement des puits contenant un système mécanique d'isolement par zone dans la zone productrice d'intérêt. Le fluide est pompé dans le puits sous une forme sensiblement non hydratée. Le fluide de traitement de puits est donc très efficace pour le scellage ou le blocage préférentiel de zones productrices dans la formation étant donné qu'une hydratation retardée du fluide peut être commandée pendant plusieurs heures. Le joint peut être dégradé et une zone productrice peut être soumise à une re-fracturation par l'introduction d'un agent de réduction de viscosité dans le puits.
