The present invention relates to a safety handle string for a blind and, more specifically, to a safety handle string for a blind in which a driving string for moving a blind up and down in order to block out light and an operating string for operating the driving string are separated from each other, thereby facilitating the replacement of the operating string in case of damage thereof due to constant use and operating the driving string with a small amount of force. In a blind including: blind blades held by a holding string; a rotating rod for folding or unfolding the blind blades; and a rotation device operated by an operating string in order to rotate the rotating rod, the safety handle string for a blind comprises: a body frame having a U-shaped partition wall formed on the upper portion thereof and a rotating screw installed on the inner central portion thereof, wherein the U-shaped partition wall has through holes on opposite side surfaces thereof into which the driving string is inserted, and the rotating screw is engaged with the driving string and has an opening portion formed on the lower side thereof; an induction member coupled to an inner side surface of the opening portion of the body frame; and an operating string wound around the induction member to rotate a rotating screw of the body frame.
