The invention relates to a door stop embedded in the door and actuated when the door handle is released. The door stop keeps the door motionless even when the door is ajar. The aim is to prevent the slamming of the door, which can constitute a hazard for the occupants, and especially for children. Another advantage of blocking the door is to avoid damage to the door or the surrounding installations and equipment when the door is roughly opened and slammed.
Il s'agit d'un arrête-porte encastré dans celle-ci et actionné par le relâchement de la poignée. Il maintient la porte immobile même si celle-ci est entre-ouverte. L'objectif est d'éviter une fermeture violente de la porte qui peut constituer un danger pour les habitants et spécialement pour les enfants. Un autre avantage du blocage de la porte est d'éviter d'endommager la porte ou les installations et les équipements alentours lors des ouvertures et fermetures violentes de la porte.
