The purpose of the present invention is to provide a zirconia sintered body suitable as a front tooth denture having aesthetics and strength equivalent to those of a natural front tooth. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a zirconia sintered body exhibiting shades equivalent to a shade sample of various natural teeth as well as having the same aesthetics as a natural front tooth. Provided is a colored translucent zirconia sintered body characterized by comprising zirconia that contains from more than 4.0 mol% to 6.5 mol% or less of yttria, less than 0.25 mol% of erbia, less than 2000 ppm of iron oxide in terms of Fe2O3, less than 0.01 wt% of cobalt oxide in terms of CoO, and less than 0.1 wt% of alumina, the zirconia sintered body having a relative density of 99.90% or higher, a total light transmittance of from 25% to less than 40% for light having a wavelength of 600 nm in a 1.0-mm-thick sample, and a strength of 500 MPa or higher.
La présente invention a pour objet un corps fritté de zircone approprié en tant que prothèse de dent de devant ayant un aspect esthétique et une résistance équivalents à ceux d'une dent de devant naturelle. La présente invention a pour autre objet un corps fritté de zircone présentant des nuances équivalentes à un échantillon de nuances de diverses dents naturelles ainsi que le même aspect esthétique qu'une dent de devant naturelle. Le corps fritté de zircone translucide coloré selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend de la zircone qui contient de plus de 4,0 % en mole à 6,5 % en mole ou moins d'oxyde d'yttrium, moins de 0,25 % en mole d'oxyde d'erbium, moins de 2000 ppm d'oxyde de fer en termes de Fe2O3, moins de 0,01 % en poids d'oxyde de cobalt en termes de CoO et moins de 0,1 % en poids d'alumine, la zircone frittée présentant une densité relative supérieure ou égale à 99,90 %, une transmittance de lumière totale de 25 % à moins de 40 % pour de la lumière ayant une longueur d'onde de 600 nm dans un échantillon ayant une épaisseur de 1,0 mm et une résistance supérieure ou égale à 500 MPa.
