SURROUNDING MONITORING DEVICE FOR OPERATING MACHINES
This surrounding monitoring device for operating machines is equipped with: an acquisition unit which acquires image information from an imaging device that captures images of the surroundings of an operating machine; an overhead image generation unit which generates an overhead image on the basis of the image information acquired by the acquisition unit; a first detection unit which detects a moving object around the operating machine; a second detection unit which detects the stop of the moving object detected by the first detection unit; and a display image generation unit which generates a display image, in which a first detection marker showing the position of the moving object detected by the first detection unit and/or a second detection marker showing the position of the moving object detected by the second detection unit is displayed in superimposed relation to the overhead image. If a moving body is detected by the first detection unit, the display image generation unit superimposes, on the overhead image, the first detection marker showing the position of the moving body, and displays the superimposed image. If the stop of the moving body is detected by the second detection unit, the display image generation unit superimposes, on the overhead image, the second detection marker showing the stationary position, and displays the superimposed image.
