REINFORCED SPLIT DOOR JAMB ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
An adjustable width split door jamb assembly (300) comprises two separate first and second components (300A) and (300B) that are designed with inter-connecting profiles that provide a tight fit. A fastener locks the first and second components at the required width. A reinforcing hinged bracket (500) is secured to the rear of the first and second components (300A) and (300B) to lock and reinforce the connection. The split door jamb with reinforcing hinged bracket is secured to a building frame via screws from the plates (flanges) of the hinged bracket.
L'invention concerne un ensemble montant de porte en deux parties (300) à largeur réglable comprenant deux premier et second éléments séparés (300A) et (300B) conçus avec des profils d'interconnexion qui assurent un ajustement serré. Un élément de fixation bloque les premier et second éléments à la largeur requise. Un support articulé de renforcement (500) est fixé à l'arrière des premier et second éléments (300A) et (300B) en vue de bloquer et renforcer la liaison. Le montant de porte en deux parties comportant un support articulé de renforcement est fixé à un cadre de bâtiment par le biais de vis à partir des plaques (brides) du support articulé.
