CELLULOSIC PULP INTERNAL CURING AGENT FOR A HYDRAULIC CEMENT-BASED COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A process for preparing a cellulosic pulp for use as an internal curing agent for a hydraulic cement- based composite material is disclosed. The process involves selecting a degree of refining of the cellulosic pulp to cause sufficient fibrillation to provide a change in water retention capacity for the cellulosic pulp while simultaneously limiting a decrease in dispersability within a mixture for forming the composite material due to excess fibrillation. The process also involves controlling refining of the cellulosic pulp using the selected degree of refinement to produce the cellulosic pulp internal curing agent.
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'une pâte cellulosique destinée à être utilisée en tant qu'agent de durcissement interne pour un matériau composite à base de ciment hydraulique. Le procédé comprend la sélection d'un degré de raffinage de la pâte cellulosique pour entraîner une fibrillation suffisante pour fournir un changement de capacité de rétention d'eau pour la pâte cellulosique tout en limitant simultanément une diminution de la capacité de dispersion à l'intérieur d'un mélange pour former le matériau composite due à une fibrillation excessive. Le procédé comprend également le contrôle du raffinage de la pâte cellulosique au moyen du degré de raffinage sélectionné pour produire l'agent de durcissement interne de pâte cellulosique.
