METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FALSE START DETECTION
A method, a false start detection system, and a false start detection sensor for determining whether an athlete has performed a false start in an event. Force data is received representing the force exerted by at least one upper appendage of the athlete on a surface when in a starting position (S701). The force data is processed to determine an athlete start time (S702), and the athlete start time is compared to an event start time to determine whether a false start has occurred (S703).
L'invention concerne un procédé, un système de détection de faux départ, et un capteur de détection de faux départ permettant de déterminer si un athlète a réalisé un faux départ lors d'un événement. Des données de force sont reçues, lesquelles représentent la force exercée par au moins un membre supérieur de l'athlète sur une surface lorsqu'il est dans une position de départ (S701). Les données de force sont traitées pour déterminer un temps de départ d'athlète (S702), et le temps de départ d'athlète est comparé à un temps de départ d'événement pour déterminer si un faux départ s'est produit (S703).
