The invention relates to a system for blocking any magnitude of external lateral force that produces, in a structure, vibratory excitation induced by an earthquake, wind, machinery traffic and other sources, which system is based on the use of a two-hinged symmetrical parabolic arch installed in a structural frame and disposed horizontally, supports of the arch being hinged to columns.
