PROCÉDÉ DE CONDITIONNEMENT PAR CIMENTATION D'UN DÉCHET ACIDE
The invention relates to a method for conditioning an acid waste by cementation, wherein the acid waste is chosen among liquids of pH less than or equal to 4, semi-liquids of pH less than or equal to 4, solids for which partial or total dissolving in water leads to a solution or a suspension of pH less than or equal to 4, and mixtures thereof, which method comprises the steps of: a) preparing a cement paste having as components at least: a phosphomagnesium cement and the acid waste, and b) curing the cement paste thus obtained, and is characterised in that in step a), the cement paste is prepared without the acid waste having been subjected beforehand to a treatment consisting of lowering its acidity. The invention is applicable for conditioning any acid waste whatever its origin and, more specifically, acid waste produced in the nuclear industry.
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de conditionnement par cimentation d'un déchet acide dans lequel le déchet acide est choisi parmi les liquides de pH au plus égal à 4, les semi-liquides de pH au plus égal à 4, les solides dont la dissolution partielle ou totale dans de l'eau conduit à une solution ou une suspension de pH au plus égal à 4, et les mélanges de ceux-ci, lequel procédé comprend les étapes de: a)préparation d'une pâte cimentaire ayant au moins comme composants: un ciment phosphomagnésien et le déchet acide, et b)durcissement de la pâte cimentaire ainsi obtenue, et est caractérisé en ce qu'à l'étape a), la pâte cimentaire est préparée sans que le déchet acide ait été préalablement soumis à un traitement consistant à abaisser son acidité. Applications: conditionnement de tout déchet acide quelle que soit son origine et, plus spécifiquement, de déchets acides produits dans l'industrie nucléaire.
