VACANT ROOM MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND MULTIPURPOSE TOILET
The present invention enables appropriate introduction and implementation of vacant room management in an existing individual room in, for example, a multipurpose toilet. This vacant room management device comprises: a storage means for storing vacant room information for the individual room; a signal-receiving means for receiving, from an open/close detection means for detecting changes in the open/close status of the entry/exit door of the individual room, a door open/close detection signal that indicates that the open/close status has changed, and receiving, from a person-sensing means for sensing a person in the individual room, a person sensing signal which indicates the sensing of a person; and an updating means for updating the vacant room information. The updating means updates the vacant room information to information that indicates an occupied room when a person sensing signal is received and updates the vacant room information to information that indicates a vacant room when a door open/close detection signal is received.
