Provided is a technology that can promote more intuitive understanding by an operator when displaying an informational image for assisting work that uses a shovel. According to one embodiment, the display device displays: a surroundings image of a work area and an attachment as viewed from a shovel 100; or, in the field of view of an operator as viewing the work area and the attachment from the shovel 100, an informational image related to excavation work. According to another embodiment, the shovel 100 comprises a display device (a display device 50) that has the abovementioned function. According to another embodiment, a management device 200 comprises a display device (a remote operation display device 230A) that has the abovementioned function, a communication device 220 that communicates with the shovel 100, and a remote operation device 240A that is for remote operation of the shovel 100 by a user via the communication device 220.
