Disclosed is a facility (1) for storing bicycles, comprising a storage zone (2), an entrance (3) into the storage zone (2), a transfer support (4) and a system for loading/unloading a bicycle onto/from the transfer support (4), the entrance (3), which forms a sally port, is equipped with a first closable opening (6) for access to the sally port, and a second closable opening (8) for access to the storage zone (2), at least one presence detection system (10) comprising sensors, the transfer support (4) comprising a movable plate surmounted by a rail equipped with a weight sensor.
