Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verriegelungsvorrichtung (1) umfassend: - ein Gehäuse (2); - ein Verriegelungselement (5), welches relativ zum Gehäuse (2) zwischen einer Entriegelungsposition (8) und einer Verriegelungsposition (7) verschiebbar in diesem aufgenommen ist; - ein erster Aktor (27), welcher zum Verschieben des Verriegelungselementes (5) zwischen der Entriegelungsposition (8) und der Verriegelungsposition (7) dient; - einen Stromanschluss (33), welcher mit dem ersten Aktor (27) gekoppelt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der erste Aktor (27) eine Formgedächtnislegierung umfasst, welche derart ausgebildet ist, dass der erste Aktor (27) bei einer Erwärmung durch Bestromung seine Form ändert.
