SEABED SCOUR PROTECTION DEVICE FOR OFFSHORE SUCTION PILE
A seabed scour protection device for protecting an area of a seabed around at least one offshore suction pile is provided. The device comprises a sheet-like flexible screen wherein along a free outer circumferential edge flexible ballast elements are provided, wherein the flexible screen is configured to be movable between a retracted state wherein the screen is in a rolled-up position and an expanded state wherein the screen is in an unrolled position so as to cover the area of the seabed, the sheet-like flexible screen further including a plurality of flexible radial tubular arms. A pressure medium may be pumped into the flexible radial tubular arms in order to cause the flexible scree including the flexible radial tubular arms to move between a retracted state wherein the flexible screen is in a rolled-up position and an expanded state wherein the flexible screen is in an unrolled position so as to cover the area of the seabed thereby substantially avoiding scouring.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de protection de fond marin destiné à protéger une zone d'un fond marin autour d'au moins une pile d'aspiration en mer. Le dispositif comprend un écran flexible en forme de feuille sur lequel le long d'un bord circonférentiel externe libre des éléments de ballast flexibles sont disposés. Ledit écran flexible est configuré pour être mobile entre un état rétracté dans lequel l'écran est dans une position enroulée et un état déployé dans lequel l'écran est dans une position déroulée de façon à recouvrir la zone du fond marin. Ledit écran flexible en forme de feuille comprend en outre une pluralité de bras tubulaires radiaux flexibles. Un milieu sous pression peut être pompé dans les bras tubulaires radiaux flexibles afin d'amener l'écran flexible comprenant les bras tubulaires radiaux flexibles à se déplacer entre un état rétracté dans lequel l'écran flexible est dans une position enroulée et un état déployé dans lequel l'écran flexible est dans une position déroulée de manière à recouvrir la zone du fond marin, ce qui permet d'éviter sensiblement l'affouillement.
