The invention relates to an avalanche-triggering device which comprises a device (3) for generating sound waves comprising: a compressed gas source; a main body (12) comprising at least one inlet port (13) intended to be fluidically connected to the compressed gas source; a vibrating diaphragm (15) housed in the main body (12), the main body (12) and the vibrating diaphragm (15) at least partially delimiting an intake chamber (16) into which the at least one inlet port (13) opens; and a tubular horn (17) comprising a first open end (17.1) facing the vibrating diaphragm (15) and a second open end (17.2) opposite the first open end (17.1), the horn (17) having a cross-section which increases towards the second open end (17.2).
Ce dispositif de déclenchement d'avalanches comporte un dispositif de génération d'ondes acoustiques (3) comportant une source de gaz comprimé; un corps principal (12) comportant au moins un orifice d'entrée (13) configuré pour être relié fluidiquement à la source de gaz comprimé; une membrane vibrante (15) logée dans le corps principal (12), le corps principal (12) et la membrane vibrante (15) délimitant au moins en partie une chambre d'admission (16) dans laquelle débouche l'au moins un orifice d'entrée (13); et un pavillon (17) qui est tubulaire et qui comporte une première extrémité ouverte (17.1) qui est située en regard de la membrane vibrante (15) et une deuxième extrémité ouverte (17.2) qui est opposée à la première extrémité ouverte (17.1), le pavillon (17) présentant une section transversale qui augmente en direction de la deuxième extrémité ouverte (17.2).
