Provided is a placement assistance method comprising: specifying the total rated power of a plurality of servers that are to be placed in a story of a building; predicting the total weight of the plurality of servers in accordance with the total rated power; classifying the plurality of servers into a plurality of first servers and a plurality of second servers by distributing the total weight into the plurality of servers in accordance with a server constitution ratio, wherein the weight of the second servers is smaller than the weight of the first servers; identifying the positions of a plurality of beams which support the floor of the story; positioning the plurality of first servers respectively directly above the plurality of beams; and positioning each of the plurality of second servers between adjacent first servers.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'aide au placement comprenant les étapes consistant à : spécifier la puissance nominale totale d'une pluralité de serveurs qui doivent être placés à un étage d'un bâtiment ; prédire le poids total de la pluralité de serveurs en fonction de la puissance nominale totale ; classer la pluralité de serveurs en une pluralité de premiers serveurs et une pluralité de seconds serveurs en répartissant le poids total de la pluralité de serveurs en fonction d'un rapport de constitution des serveurs, le poids des seconds serveurs étant inférieur à celui des premiers ; identifier les positions d'une pluralité de poutres qui supportent le plancher de l'étage ; positionner la pluralité de premiers serveurs respectivement directement au-dessus de la pluralité de poutres ; et positionner chaque serveur de la pluralité de seconds serveurs entre des premiers serveurs adjacents.
