Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Kraftfahrzeugschloss (11) mit einem Steuergerät (1), wobei das Steuergerät (1) eine Platine (2, 12) mit einer ersten Ebene (A-A, D-D) darauf angeordneten mit der Platine (2, 12) verbundenen elektronischen Bauelemente (3, 20) und einen mit der Platine (2, 12) verbundenen Energie-Speicher (4, 15, 16) in einer zu der ersten Ebene (A-A, D-D) versetzten zweiten Ebene (B-B, C-C) und wenigstens zum Teil über den elektronischen Bauteilen (3, 20) angeordnet ist.
