The object of the present invention is a fixing arrangement (1) for attaching a sink insert (2) to a countertop (10). It comprises a countertop opening (10') corresponding to the shape of the sink part (2') of the sink insert (2), into which the sink part (2') can be fitted, and fastening means (3, 4), which are arranged in the sink insert (2) and with which the sink insert (2) can be attached to the edge (10b) of the opening (10'). The fastening means (3, 4) comprise support elements (3) of the sink part (2') arranged to the opposite sides of the sink part (2') fixedly in relation to the sink part (2') and comprising a counter surface (3a) resting on the rabbet surface (10c') of the edge (10b) of the opening (10') of the countertop (10). Glue can be introduced between the rabbet surface (10c') and the counter surface (3a). A gripper design (3b) is equipped with fastening means (4) comprising a force element (4d). It tightens against the edge (10b) of the opening (10') of the countertop (10) when fitting the sink part (2') into the opening from the side of the lower surface (10c) of the countertop (10), whereby the tightened force elements (4d) apply to the edge (10b) of the opening (10') a holding force of the sink insert (2) opposite to each other. A compression ring (20) equipped with compression elements (22) is removably adaptable to the lower surface (10c) of the countertop (10), whereby the compressing elements (22) extend to the fastening means (4) generating a force that presses the rabbet surface (10c) and the counter surface (3b) against each other.
