A review of roof integrated photovoltaics systems
In this paper, we present a review of current developments in roof integrated photovoltaics systems. The BIPV market can be divided into two sectors, (i) façade mounted PV, which includes cladding, curtain walls and windows and (ii) roof mounted BIPV which account to about 80% of the total BIPV market [1]. This paper includes a market overview, a summary of roof integrated design options, and a performance review of various design options.
