Integral Calculation of a Cable-Stayed Bridge with Single Pylon
In this paper, the actual project of cable-stayed bridge with single pylon is taken as the calculation object. This bridge has main span of 2 × 132m, and it is tower-girder consolidation system. The finite element model is established using Midas/civil software to calculate and analyze the bridge's behavior in construction and service status. The calculation includes the force calculation of the main girder, the central pylon and cables; also includes cracking resistance and stiffness checking computation of main girder in the serviceability limit state, the stress checking computation of the main girder, the central pylon and stay-cables also in the serviceability limit state. Calculations results prove that the bridge's static force performance meets the specification requirements both in the construction and service status. So it can provide a reference for the design scheme selection and calculation analysis of similar bridges.
