A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
With the development of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, the demand for its application in Intelligent Construction is increasing. Thus, it is necessary to integrate BIM technology into the curriculum of the intelligent construction course to offer theoretical support and practical guidance and cultivate professionals equipped with BIM skills. The curriculum was proposed after analyzing the application of BIM technology in the lifecycle of construction projects and considering the need for the education of intelligent construction. The implementation of the curriculum was evaluated for its effectiveness. The result revealed that students’ mastery of knowledge and skills in the discipline was enhanced. Using the curriculum, the digitalization, intelligence, and green development of the talent in the construction industry can be achieved.
