Moretown Bypass, Approximately 3.0 Miles of Relocation in Town of Moretown, County of Washington, Vermont
The project begins at a point on existing Vermont Route 100 approximately 0.24 mile southerly of the Vermont 100 - Vermont 100B intersection in Moretown, continues north to a point between the two village cemeteries, where access is provided, then proceeds northwest, north and northeast to a point 1.0 mile south of Town Highway 21 where access is again provided, then continues roughly parallel until it rejoins present Vermont 100B and thence to connect to the recently completed project S 0167(6). The project is 3.0 miles in length. Project is proposed as two 12-foot lanes with 8-foot shoulders, bituminous concrete surface, controlled-access and designed for 50 miles per hour. A summary of environmental impacts is given.
