Cultural Resource Management Plan for Timber Sale and Forest Development Areas on the Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation. Volume I
The Forestry Archeological Program was established by the Albuquerque Area Office of the Bureau of Indian Affairs in the fall of 1978. This program was designed to conduct cultural resources surveys and prepare management plans for commercial forest areas on Indian trust lands under Albuquerque Area Office jurisdiction. In this management plan field survey data is integrated with extant information on the local environment, prehistory, and history, and management recommendations are presented for future use by forestry personnel.
