West Monroe Metropolitan Plan
The report begins with a historical sketch of West Monroe and follows with the basic data for the development of a comprehensive plan of the West Monroe area. This basic data includes a summary of studies on topography, soil conditions, existing land-use, existing circulation and housing. From these basic data studies an interim land use and circulation plan has been developed. The carrying out of the plan will be coupled with more detailed study and design to insure that it realizes the highest aspirations of the community for a compatible environment. (Author)
