The report contains an analysis of existing and future parkland recreation facilities needs in the four-county region, based on an inventory of existing facilities, 1970 population reported by the U. S. Census, and population projections prepared as part of this study. Possible methods of implementation have been explored, and responsibilities for providing necessary parklands and facilities have been proposed. A plan for satisfying the current and future needs of the region has been formulated based upon the above considerations.
