The proposed project recommends development of a Secondary State Highway on new alignment for that segment of SH 144 from just north of Moyers northeast to north of Dunbar in Pushmataha County, state of Oklahoma. Adverse effects include: displacement of two single family dwellings, no businesses and slight potential for water pollution during construction. Positive effects include: diversion of thru traffic from the towns, alleviate noise and air pollution in town, congestion, convenience, improve existing transportation system and improve access to areas of unique interest or scenic beauty, aesthetic or visual effects, and the recreational and park areas.
