The proposed project recommends development of a Primary State Highway on or nearby existing US 183 from the Washita River bridge north of Clinton in Custer County, northerly 7.4 miles through Arapaho. Adverse effects include: displacement of 5 family dwellings and 7 businesses, potential for noise and air pollution; and water pollution of the Arkansas River.
