The study is an identification of the quantitative and qualitative need for housing in the Mid-Ohio Region. It analyzes the income and demographic characteristics of the people and provides a complete overview of the number of houses needed both now and at intervals in the future. An analysis of the ability of the housing delivery system to provide the needed number of units with the specified characteristics is given. After aligning the need with that which will be supplied by the housing delivery mechanism, the housing deficiency is succinctly presented. This is the numerical need for housing now and in the future. Also, having taken into account the operation of the housing delivery system, the study offers efficient means to the solution of the housing problem in the Mid-Ohio Region.
