A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Job C-60-51, Federal Aid Project S-1280(1), State Highway 365, South Pulaski County, Arkansas
The project consists of the construction of a four-lane, divided, partially controlled access county road in Pulaski County, Arkansas. The proposed highway will connect State Highway 365, the developing Maumelle New Town, and Interstate 430. It will provide primary access to the new town. Construction of this highway will result in several major benefits to central Arkansas. Some adverse environmental impacts will occur as a result of this project. These will not be severe, although the development will alter this rural environment and lead to a decrease, if not a local elimination, of some wild species.
