The report is largely a review of the literature pertaining to early frost damage to concrete; that is, damage resulting from freezing of the fresh concrete. Discussed are the mechanism of destruction, and the minimum recommended curing age for exposed concrete. A bibliography of 51 references is included. (BPR abstract)
