Time-Dependent Deflection of a Box Girder Bridge
In this report the time-dependent dead-load deflections of a continuous box grider bridge are compared with the values obtained by a rational analysis based on the 'modified-elastic-modulus' method. Warpage and deflection due to shrinkage are estimated by applying the principles of superposition using an effective elastic modulus and an assumed shrinkage potential for the concrete.
