Regional Work Study Program. Phase I. Genesee/Finger

The work-study program in Urban and Regional Planning is designed to aid in eliminating the shortage of qualified minority persons in urban oriented professions, improve communications among the many agencies involved with planning, and produce a sufficient number of professionals to cover problems of concern to minority groups. The study is designed to encourage the colleges and universities to undertake urban studies or planning programs, expanding areas of cooperation and communications between academic professionals and planning professionals. This report describes the procedures and objectives developed by the Genesee/Finger Lakes Regional Planning Board and the State University of New York College at Brockport in the administration of the program.
