The investigation of eight houses is carried out to give an idea of the humidity and mold growth status in houses which do not smell of mold. The investigation is limited to the foundation of the houses. It was found that six of the eight houses had the same quantity of mold growth that is usually found in moldy-smelling houses. It was also found that four of the houses had a smell of mold in the foundation, but not in the indoor air.
