This report presents a summary of some of the initial work done by NBS in estimating yearly energy savings by comparing projections of a base building design using normal GSA practice with a new design aimed specifically at conserving energy. Also, a prediction of energy savings in the same manner is given for Orlando, Florida, using the same building and operation information changing only the weather data.
