Central Business District Study, Phase I
The study presents a Phase I, for the City of Jacksonville, Alabama. In this study is a written analysis and graphic representation of a preliminary design plan for the central business district and recommendations for a twenty year period. The study area is defined and the CBD core and frame areas are delineated. The plan proposes developing the CBD core's shopping district and includes a preliminary design plan and recommendations for land use, traffic circulation, physical design, parking improvements, new public facilities and proposed phasing implementation of the plan for governmental and private enterprise.
