Maintenance and Repair of Sprayed Polyurethane Foam Roofing
This report is intended to assist Bureau of Reclamation field personnel in the maintenance of SPF (sprayed polyurethane foam) roofing systems. No roof system can be expected to provide good long-term performance without some attention to maintenance and repair. Too often, roofs are out of sight and out of mind until a leak develops. Most roof problems begin in a small way which can be easily and inexpensively corrected if caught early. If left undetected, these small problems develop into larger problems needing more extensive and expensive repairs or even total roof replacement. This report provides step-by-step instructions for inspection and maintenance of SPF roofing.
