The Rostler analysis was performed on recovered asphalts from the Zaca-Wigmore Test Road and on a series of 85-100 grade asphalts that were weathered in a laboratory infrared oven. Results from both studies indicate that there is no relation between any of the various asphalts in terms of change in asphaltenes or first and second acidaffins during mixing or service life.
