Winter Park Management Unit
The project proposes direction for the Winter Park Management Unit to protect its suitability for winter sports activities, and to permit expansion of the existing winter sports area. The Management Unit contains 5,217 acres in the Arapaho National Forest and 173 acres in other ownership. It is located in Grand County, Colorado, about 68 highway miles west of Denver near the community of Winter Park. Environmental impacts are discussed.
