The report presents a study on: Testing of passive safety protection installations for highways. Part A - Investigation program for the improvement of the passive safety of objects of the highway traffic control devices and (B) Crash tests on traffic signs of large dimensions. Also included is a study on the influencing of the follow-up behaviour by advance warning of the highway alignment using pavement edge markings.
