This study is on the arrangement of a simulation model for the evaluation of an integrated traffic guidance in connected central city networks. The present study had the objective to develop a detailed simulation model, which places a user in the position to reproduce and to evaluate the traffic with the essential elements to be investigated in a densely linked highway network. At the same time control measures were to be introduced into the investigation, which could represent the framework for an 'integrated traffic guidance system'.
