Construction of a road would occur in a drainage, now roadless, with an attendant increase in people's usage of the area and the surrounding vicinity. The present road access is single lane, excessively steep in places, and alternately rocky and dusty due to its being unsurfaced. Impacts may be caused by the project to anadromous fish spawning areas and to local big game ranges.
