The central library normally houses the administrative offices for the entire library system. The following set of standards, for main and branch libraries, must be developed, evaluated and applied to produce a desirable library facilities plan: location standards, site standards, building standards, service standards, and quantity standards. Standards used in this plan are adapted from the American Library Association, the Oklahoma Library Association, and the Tulsa Metropolitan Library System. Cost data and a bibliography of similar library studies are included. (Author)
