The Jacksonville Housing Market Area (HMA) consists of Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns Counties in northeast Florida and is coterminous with the Jack- sonville, FL Metropolitan Statistical Area. For purposes of this analysis, the HMA is divided into three submarkets: the Duval County submarket, which includes the city of Jacksonville; the Suburban submarket, which includes Clay and St. Johns Counties to the south; and the Rural submarket, which includes Baker County to the west and Nassau County to the north.
