The Jacksonville Housing Market Area (HMA) consists of Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns Counties in north- east Florida. For purposes of this analysis, the HMA is divided into three submarkets: the Duval submarket, which is coterminous with the consolidated Jacksonville government of Duval County and the city of Jacksonville; the Suburban submarket, which includes Clay and St. Johns Counties to the south; and the Rural submarket, which includes Baker County to the west and Nassau County to the north.
