A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Project F-227(7), Kearney-East, Buffalo County, Nebraska
The project proposes approximately 3.2 miles of highway construction beginning 500 feet west of the junction of N Avenue and U.S. Highway 30 and proceeding easterly on existing U.S. Highway 30 to a termination point. The proposed improvement includes expanding U.S. Highway 30 into a four-lane divided highway; drainage structures; street lighting; traffic signalization as required; storm sewer drainage from the beginning of the project easterly to the city limits; and improvement of five railroad crossings. Environmental impacts are discussed.
