Neighborhood Analysis and Housing Study, Hohenwald, Tennessee
Hohenwald is divided into five neighborhoods or planning units and a general description of each is given. Physical, social and economic characteristics are discussed for the entire urban area and also in terms of neighborhood delineation. A summary of vital blighting influences is noted for each neighborhood and recommendations for areas needing treatment are made. The housing section discusses the problems and obstacles of housing low-income families in Hohenwald. Present efforts to meet the low-income housing needs are noted, and objectives are outlined in a program aimed at resolving these low-income housing needs. (Author)
