This is a final report in which the Colorado Department of Highways developed an equation and a nomograph to predict chloride content in bare concrete bridge decks. Reversing the path in the nomograph, maintenance engineers will be able to predict the years before a structure becomes extensively corroded, knowing the amount of deicing salts applied to the structure.
